Derrick Law Firm Jury Research Focus Group

The Derrick Law Firm is looking for individuals who would like to participate in a focus group and give us their opinions on a broad range of issues as well as on the specifics of our cases. We will be paying our focus groups $20/hour and will be holding the focus groups from 6-9pm in the evening during the week and from 9am-5pm on Saturdays.

Food and beverage will be provided during each session.

Each person that indicates an interest in serving will be contacted to make sure they are available for a specific night or a specific day.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where will the focus groups be held?
  • How old must participants be to join a focus group?
    • Participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in a focus group.
  • How many times may I participate in a focus group?
    • Each person who indicates a desire to participate will be allowed to do so. There may be future opportunities to participate again depending on the number of people who sign up.
  • Can my spouse, relative, or friend be in the same focus group as me?
    • No. Since that would not be allowed to occur in a real jury, we will not allow it to occur in focus groups. We will be pairing individuals from the preliminary survey sent to each participate so that we will have a broad range of opinions and a diverse group of participants.
