Schedule:
- Day sessions: Approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Evening sessions: Approximately 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

About the Role
Derrick Law Firm is seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to assist with legal focus group sessions across multiple South Carolina locations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people and helping coordinate events in a professional environment. College and law school students are encouraged to apply, but all qualified candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and breakdown of focus group sessions
- Welcome and check in participants
- Coordinate materials, seating, and overall logistics
- Help organize and distribute food and refreshments
- Collect surveys and ensure all materials are completed and returned
- Support the Focus Group Coordinator to ensure smooth event execution
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with groups of people
- Ability to multitask and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable transportation to assigned locations
- Availability for evening sessions required
- Prior experience in event support, customer service, or administrative work is a plus

Juror Relations Specialist
Location: Conway, SC

About the Role
The Juror Relations Specialist is responsible for recruiting, screening, communicating with, and maintaining relationships with prospective jurors for focus groups, mock trials, and jury research projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact for jurors throughout the entire participation process, from initial outreach and qualification through attendance confirmation and follow-up communications.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and comfortable managing large volumes of phone, text, and email communications while maintaining accurate records and ensuring juror participation goals are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Juror Recruitment & Screening
- Manage availability surveys and participant intake processes.
- Review responses and identify qualified jurors based on project criteria.
- Maintain recruitment pipelines and participant databases.
- Follow up with prospective jurors to maximize participation rates.
Juror Communications
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all juror participants.
- Send invitations, confirmations, reminders, and event-related communications.
- Conduct phone outreach to confirm attendance and resolve participant questions.
- Maintain consistent communication with jurors before, during, and after participation.
- Ensure all participant documentation and consent forms are completed.
Juror Database Management
- Create and update participant records within company systems.
- Track participant demographics, availability, attendance, and participation history.
- Maintain accurate juror lists, alternate lists, and recruitment records.
- Document participant activity and compensation information.
Juror Experience & Retention
- Gather participant feedback and maintain positive participant relationships.
- Encourage future participation opportunities for qualified jurors.
- Promote a professional and positive experience throughout the juror lifecycle.
Administrative Support
- Generate reports, recruitment tracking documents, and participant lists.
- Maintain communication templates and recruitment materials.
- Assist with survey management and participant data organization.
- Support attorneys and internal teams by ensuring recruitment targets are achieved.
Qualifications:
Required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with excellent recordkeeping skills.
- Comfortable conducting frequent phone outreach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and database systems.
Preferred
- Experience in customer service, recruiting, call center operations, legal support, or participant research.
- Experience using CRM, case management, or database software.
- Familiarity with SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp, Zoom, or similar communication platforms.
