SC Worker's Compensation Commission Increased Pay

The South Carolina Worker's Compensation Commission has approved an increase in the maximum weekly pay by 2.3% for those injured on the job beginning January 1, 2016.

The maximum pay a worker may receive per week is $784.03. That total is up from $776.05 that the commission set for 2015.

Workers who receive weekly pay from worker's compensation are paid 66 and 2/3% of their average wage up to the new maximum set by the commission.
