Katelyn Barnett was born and raised in Turbeville, South Carolina. She joined Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers in 2022 as a Medical Records and Bills paralegal.
Before coming to Derrick Law Firm, Katelyn worked as a legal assistant at a local attorney’s office in Florence, South Carolina. For several years, she assisted attorneys by requesting medical records and bills from medical providers pertaining to a client's case. Now, Katelyn serves on the Focus Group team where she helps seat mock jurors and keeps the process running smoothly.
When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, being on the water, and spending time with family as well as her three dogs.
