Tracey Sherwood joined Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers in 2021 as its Chief Operations Executive. Tracey brings previous experience in consulting, strategic planning, financial operations, reporting, practice management, project management, pricing and profitability, legal technology, and commercial finance, among other areas. She enjoys undertaking strategic initiatives that take a company to the “next level” and guiding colleagues to do the same.
Prior to joining Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers, Tracey was an Executive Consultant serving mid-sized law firms, Chief Client Service Officer for a legal technology company, Director of Strategic Pricing, Director of Financial Operations & Reporting for a global law firm, and Vice President of Asset Management for a commercial finance company.
Tracey earned her B.S. in Music Education from Ithaca College and her M.B.A. from the University of Rochester. She is a Certified Pricing Professional and has enjoyed numerous speaking engagements at legal conferences.
Tracey was raised in a small town in Upstate New York and gradually migrated South, spending time in North Carolina, Georgia and now residing in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She has been a longtime volunteer for the Atlanta Humane Society as well as other arts- and literacy-based organizations. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and long walks on the beach with her dog.
