Registration Fee: $25

Location: Marina Park in downtown Conway, SC

Parking: Parking is available in the county lot just off 2nd Avenue between Laurel and Elm Street.

Registration: Participants may pre-register online through www.grandstrandrunner.com or they may fill out a registration form and mail it to:

Registration Material Pick-Up: 7:00am-7:45am
Participants may also register the morning of the race between 7:00am-7:45am

Timing: Official race timing will be provided by Coastal Timing. There will be a 1 hour time cap on the course.

Route: The 5K route will begin and end at the Marina Park and follow through the historic streets of downtown Conway.

Awards: Awards will be given to the Overall Top Male and Female Runners as well as Top Male and Female in each age group. Age groups are as follows: Under 19, 20-24. 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and up.

Charity: All registration fees will be donated to the Children’s Mentoring Program of Horry County.

Sponsorship: The Run for the Children 5K is sponsored by Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers. They will provide timing chips for participants as well as snacks, beverages, and event set-up materials. Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers will also sponsor the event t-shirts for participants.
