Because Mr. Derrick’s parents founded the program many years ago, this is a meaningful cause for him. "This race is meant to get the community involved in raising awareness for the mentoring program. We seem to be getting a lot of positive support and I hope it shows on race day."
The race will have volunteers from the community including members of Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers, the Children’s Mentoring Program , and friends and family. Mr. Derrick will be sponsoring t-shirts for all participants.
