If there are poor conditions for driving including bad weather or another obstruction to the driver’s vision, the driver must exercise caution and drive appropriately for the conditions being experienced. For example, if it is raining at a rate that makes it difficult to see, a driver should slow to a reasonable speed, allow enough distance between the car in front of them, and be aware of your surroundings so that you may prevent an auto accident.

In all driving conditions, a driver should keep their vehicle under proper control and exercise due care so that they may be able to slow down or move out of harms way.

Unfortunately, not all drivers obey the law and do not lookout for others on the roadways. If you are seriously injured by the recklessness of another, please contact Myrtle Beach personal injury attorney Dirk Derrick.
