Michelle Buffkin, born and raised in Green Sea, South Carolina, is one of the medical treatment employees at Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers.
Michelle graduated from Green Sea Floyds High School. She attended Horry Georgetown Technical College and later earned her nursing degree from Conway School of Practical Nursing in 1996. She was also certified in phlebotomy in 2019.
With a nursing background in family medicine, pediatrics, nephrology, obstetrics, cardiology, and one year as school nurse, Michelle brings a wide range of medical knowledge and experience to the firm. Michelle has always had a passion for helping others and her previous work experience has prepared her to serve in her current position as a medical treatment employee where she completes a review and summary of each client's medical records. She also keeps in contact with medical providers and updates the attorneys regarding each client’s medical treatment status.
Michelle is married to her husband, Chris, and together they have a daughter, Maci. Her free time is dedicated to spending time with her family.
