Haleigh grew up in Murrells Inlet, SC and graduated from St. James High School. She attended Coastal Carolina University where she graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Political Science.
Haleigh joined the pre-litigation department at The DLF in December 2021. Her duties include preparing files for settlement, verifying balances, requesting reductions from medical providers, disbursing monies held in trust, and closing files. Before working at Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers, Haleigh was a pre-litigation paralegal for a personal injury law firm for three years where she worked in all aspects of the case from start to finish.
Outside of work, and despite being a CCU grad, Haleigh is a huge South Carolina Gamecock fan. She goes to every home football game with her family in their RV. In her words, "It's a big deal!" Haleigh also loves to go on a boat at the inlet or on the river, spending time with both her boyfriend and family. She is a self-proclaimed "foodie" and loves trying new restaurants. She enjoys spending time with her friends and every day, she takes a two to four-mile walk, listening to her favorite podcasts.
