Mikea Motley serves as an Intake Specialist and Focus Group Host at Derrick Law Firm Injury Lawyers. As one of the first points of contact for clients, she is committed to ensuring each person feels heard, supported, and guided during what is often a stressful and uncertain time. She assists with client intake, investigations support, documentation coordination, focus group logistics, helping maintain organization, accuracy, and a professional client experience.
Prior to joining Derrick Law Firm, Mikea proudly served six years in the United States Air Force as Military Police, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2013. During her service, she conducted investigations, responded to law enforcement calls, and served as a first line of security. Her military experience strengthened her situational awareness, discipline, and ability to advocate for victims - skills that directly enhance her work with clients in distress.
After completing her military service, Mikea earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Management. She brings a strong sense of structure, professionalism, and continuous improvement to her role.
Mikea is also a proud mother of two, Cai and Alayah, who inspire her daily to lead with integrity, compassion, and resilience.
