Child Booster Seats Recalled from Target Due to Risk of Fall
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has expanded its recall of children's booster seats sold at Target stores after reports of additional falls. According to the press release, the restraint buckle can open unexpectedly and allow the child to fall from the chair and get injured.
After the initial recall, Target received 10 additional reports of the buckles opening and three reported bumps and/or bruises when the child fell forward out of the booster seat and hit an object or the floor.
The recall invovles Circo Booster seats sold as early as 2005 through 2009. Consumers should stop using the seats and return them to any Target store for a full refund.
