Woman Killed Early Sunday in Crash near Orangeburg

A woman was killed early Sunday morning in a car accident in Orangeburg County. The accident happened on Neeses Highway around 2:30 am after the driver of a 1999 Nissan was driving west on the highway and ran off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected, went off the left side of the road and hit a drain pipe. The car overturned and the female passenger was ejected. She was identified as 38-year-old Eva Nicole Wright. None of the people int he car were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

The Highway Patrol continue to investigate the accident.
