Two Teenagers Taken to Hospital After Wreck in Myrtle Beach

A two vehicle wreck occurred at 5:13 Wednesday at 5:13 pm sending two teenagers from North Carolina to the hospital and closing 17th Ave South and southbound lane of Robert Grissom Parkway for an hour and a half.

A car traveling westbound on 17th Ave South failed to yield right-of-way and was subsequently stuck by a Jeep Cherokee traveling southbound on Robert Grissom Parkway. The two teenagers were traveling in the vehicle that failed to yield. Both 17-year-olds were taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment. One of the girls has been treated and released, but the other remains at the hospital in critical condition.
