Two Injured After Crash with Florence Police Cruiser

Two people suffered minor injuries after a two-car accident involving a Florence police cruiser Tuesday night. The accident happened at 9:45 pm at South Irby Street and West Palmetto Street. The cruiser was traveling east on West Palmetto Street and the other car was going south on South Irby Street when the accident happened. The officer was not injured, but the two people in the other vehicle were treated at an area hospital for injuries.

The accident is still under investigation by the police.
