An 18-wheeler had trouble with its fuel tank along I-95 in Robeson County, when it caught on fire going down the interstate highway. The tractor trailer and another 18-wheeler crashed.

Several other vehicles were then ignited by the fire. Reports have shown that five people have died from their injuries, including an infant.

Helicopters flew in to transport people for injuries and I-95 was shut down from Lumberton to Dillon County.

This accident has had traumatic effects on many people and crews worked to clear the lanes through the night.
