Overnight Accident on I-26 in North Charleston

Two lanes were closed on I-26 in North Charleston last night after an auto accident. The accident sent 2 people to the hospital and occurred near the Ashley Phosphate exit. The Highway Patrol states that one car did hit the median. Crews were able to clear the scene and reopen the lanes.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the accident.
