A Myrtle Beach man was killed in a crash at the intersection of Kings Highway and Grand Dunes Boulevard at about 5 pm on Saturday. An SUV T-boned the truck of Shane Terreberry, 25, as he attempted to cross the highway. The SUV had the right of way.
Terreberry was flown to New Hanover Memorial Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries at around 8:30 pm.
The accident caused roads to be closed until about 8 pm. The SUV that hit Terreberry's vehicle had three occupants, none of which sustained serious injuries. They were released after treatment.
