Authorities have identified three people that were killed after a car accident Sunday night on North Center Road. The highway patrol says that two cars collided around 8:10 pm on Sunday. A 1997 Toyota with three occupants was traveling north on Center Road when it was hit head on by a Chevy going south that had crossed the center line. The driver of the Toyota was identified as 29-year-old Michael Joseph Sylvester. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. The front passenger in the car was also not wearing a seat belt and was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. The rear passenger in the Toyota was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as G.C. Reaves. The driver of the Chevy was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene as well. He was identified as 23-year-old Sherman Christopher Covington. A female passenger in the Chevy was also taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. Authorities worked late into the evening conducting a full investigation of the accident.
