Driver Charged With DUI Following Deadly Accident on Highway 90
A 21-year-old man has been charged with two counts of felony DUI after the car he was driving flipped into a ditch and ejected one passenger. Ryan Douglas Roszel has been charged with DUI with great bodily injury and one count of felony DUI resulting in death. Roszel was the driver of a 1997 Honda that crashed Saturday night on Highway 90 near Carriage Lake Drive. The vehicle flipped into a ditch, trapped one person inside, and ejected a second passenger.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Gail Lynch. Roszel and the other passenger were transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries and Roszel was later arrested and charged. The accident remains under investigation by the authorities.
