Posted on Aug 18, 2010 Law enforcement officials are cracking down on dangerous driving along Interstate 26 in Charleston, S.C. Hundreds of tickets have been written by the S.C. Hwy. Patrol and other agencies to drivers recently along I-26.
During five days last week, 214 tickets were issued to drivers along a 22-mile stretch of I-26 between Jedburg and I-95, according to The Post and Courier of Charleston.
Since the beginning of 2007, twenty-six people have died along that stretch of highway, many in one-vehicle accidents.
