Car Pulls Out in Front of Motorcycle, Injures Biker

A motorcyclist was sent to MUSC after a car pulled out in front of him causing him to crash Thursday morning in Goose Creek. The accident happened on St. James Avenue in front of La Petite Academy daycare. The motorcycle, a 2007 Kawasaki, was going west on St. James Avenue when a 1989 Honda Civic pulled onto the highway from the day care in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle then crashed into the drivers side of the car.
The motorcycle driver, 58-year-old Stephen Flowers, was seriously injured in the accident and airlifted to MUSC. He was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash. The police are still investigating the accident.
