A 16-year-old boy has plead guilty to reckless homicide in a speeding-related crash that killed on of his passengers and left himself and two others injured.
The wreck occurred in December 2009 in Lancaster County, South Carolina when the teenager drove off a rural road and into a utility pole. The car then rolled several times before smashing into a building about 300 feet from the road he has been driving on. He has been driving 100 mph at the time of the crash.
The driver does not admit responsibility in his plea, but rather concedes there is enough evidence to convict him in the case. He claims he does not remember the crash.
