5 Taken to Hospital after Wreck in Myrtle Beach

A two car accident in Myrtle Beach early Wednesday evening sent five people to an area hospital with injuries. The accident occurred at 5:48 pm on Oak St. and Sixth Ave North near the post office. A vehicle that was traveling westbound on Sixth Ave North failed to yield right-of-way and was T-boned by a car traveling southbound on Oak St.
Authorities say there were no serious injuries, but that five people were taken to the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment following the accident.
