A Tuesday morning head-on collision killed one man and sent two others to the hospital. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 64 when a driver of a 2001 Ford pickup truck heading east, crossed the center line and hit a 2000 Mazda sedan. The driver of the pickup, Charles Simmons, was killed in the accident. Two other passengers in the truck as well as the driver of the sedan were taken to area hospitals to be treated for injuries sustained in the accident.
The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
