Three-Car Collision in Carolina Forest Injures Elderly Woman

One afternoon on Carolina Forest Boulevard, two cars were traveling North as one car approached them heading South. The lead car heading North slowed to make a left turn while the car behind it was traveling too fast for conditions and ran into the back of the lead car. The lead car was pushed into the other lane and hit the approaching vehicle head-on.

The woman in the vehicle that was hit head-on was an elderly woman who was severely injured in the accident. She was admitted to the ICU at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where she was treated for multiple bone fractures in her ribs, right wrist, right ankle, and back, as well as contusions to her chest.

A family member of the woman contacted The Derrick Law Firm to help get the benefits she needed and to have her case handled by an experienced personal injury attorney.

The Derrick Law Firm investigated her accident and all insurance policies that were available to cover her damages from the accident. After evaluation of her medical records and all facts associated with the case, Attorney Kristie Shaw made a demand to settle and collected a settlement of $121,000 for her client.
