South Carolina Lawyer Dirk Derrick helps victims recover from car accidents, personal injury & wrongful death.

The Derrick Law Firm recently settled the liability portion of a car accident client's case for full policy limits. The accident occurred near the intersection of Highway 501 and Highway 90 in Conway, South Carolina.

Our client, a Conway, SC resident, was driving down busy Highway 501 when traffic came to a sudden halt. He hit his brakes in order to stop from hitting the car ahead and then was rear-ended by another vehicle at about 40mph.

The client was injured and taken to the hospital where he complained of upper and lower back pain as well as pain to his neck. Doctors noted the lumbar and cervical sprain and our client was recommended for injections, physical therapy, and neck surgery.

All treatment was completed and surgery was required.

After evaluation of the client's medical records and the bills accumulated during the time of treatment, Personal Injury Attorney Kevin Mulet demanded full limits of the liability policy which was granted to our client. A further demand of Underinsured Motorist coverage has issued and is awaiting response from the insurance company.

The Derrick Law Firm will treat you like family and work to get you the full value of your case. Our firm focuses on personal injury law so you can know that we have extensive experience and knowledge when it comes to handling your car accident, workers' compensation, wrongful death, and other injury case.
