Young girl killed in Georgetown car crash

Yesterday, in the early morning, a sixteen year old student from Andrews High School was killed in a single car accident. 

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver ran off the road, hit a ditch, and the car overturned. She was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. She died from massive trauma sustained in the crash.

Andrews High School will be offering counseling to students and staff who may need it during this time of grieving.
