Victims Identified After Fatal Car Accident in Berkeley County

Two people have died after the car they were driving crashed and caught fire early Saturday morning in Berkeley County. The Berkeley County Coroner's office says the driver of the car, 24-year-old David Grimsley, and the passenger, 28-year-old Phillip Saunders were both pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to Highway Patrol State Troopers a 2002 Chevy Cavalier was traveling north on Spring Grove Road when the car ran off the right side of the road, struck a utility pole, and then caught fire. Troopers say the accident is still under investigation.
