Victim Identified After Fatal I-26 Car Accident

A 20-year-old man is dead after a single car accident on I-26 near mile marker 194. Police say the accident happened around 2:30 P.M. when the driver of a Honda, Patrick Mason Boynton, ran off the road going eastbound and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Boynton was wearing his seatbelt, however investigators say that alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine were found in the car.
The accident remains under investigation.
