Two People Die in Single Car Crash in Bamberg

Reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol state that two people died in an auto accident and four others were taken to the hospital in Bamberg County. The driver, Frankie Glover, was traveling east on Charleston-Augusta Road near Bamberg when he lost control of his 1994 Ford Explorer. The car also flipped in the accident. Glover was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Two of the passengers inside of the vehicle died at the scene. One was wearing a seatbelt and the other was ejected from the car. Three other passengers were also ejected from the car and airlifted to Richland Memorial Hospital.
The highway patrol's MAIT team is continuing to investigate the accident to determine the exact cause.
