Troopers Seek Vehicle in Fatal Crash

Police in Lexington County are looking for a vehicle that was invovled in an accident that killed a 66-year-old woman Saturday night on US 378. According to reports, Arthur Wright was driving his GMC Yukon east on US 378 around 10:40 pm when an unknown car pulled out in front of him near Lake Village Drive. Wright tried to avoid hitting the other vehicle but skidded off the right side of the road and flipped several times. Wright was not injured, but his wife, Shirley Wright, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The police are still looking for the other car and are asking for anyone with information to please contact authorities. The SC Highway Patrol's MAIT team is investigating the crash.
