Tractor Trailer Driver Falls Asleep at the Wheel

Posted on Oct 18, 2016

Recently, a tractor trailer truck driver fell asleep at the wheel around 1:30 AM. Upon falling asleep, the truck hit the cement barriers and at least 200 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the interstate in Greenville, South Carolina.

The driver was not hurt but Greenville City Fire came out to contain the gas spill. Authorities kept the area closed for 12 hours while cleaning up after the accident.

Thankfully the driver nor any other people on the highway were injured in this accident. For the times when people are not so lucky, and experience serious injuries due to the recklessness of another, hiring an experienced personal injury attorney may be necessary to get the benefits you need.
