Three Charged In Fatal Boat Crashes

   Three South Carolina men have been charged in connection with two boating accidents that killed four on Lake Murray earlier this year.

   Steven Miller and Steven Kranendonk, both 25 and from Irmo, are each charged with two felony counts of boating under the influence (BUI). David Porth, 24, of Gilbert is charged with boating while intoxicated.

   According to officials, Kranendonk was driving a boat that struck another boat carrying Amber Golden, 24, of Woodville, AL, and Kelli Bullard, 25, of Lexington, killing them both. Kyle Howk, 21, of Columbia, and Randall Carter, 36, of Irmo, were in Miller's boat and were killed when his boat collided with Porth's.

   No trial date has yet been set.
