Teen Charged In Hit And Run

   A Pawleys Island teen has been charged with hit-and-run in a car accident that injured another teen in Georgetown County.

   Thomas Gallagher, 18, turned himself in to authorities Monday, according the the S.C. Highway Patrol. He is charged with leaving the scene of a collision with personal injury.

   The collision occurred Saturday night on Litchfield Rd. about 11 p.m. Gallagher's car struck a 16-year-old boy walking with others along the roadway.

   He was taken to the Georgetown Memorial Hospital and transferred to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston. His condition is not yet available.
