Suspect in Saturday Hit-and-Run Death Charged

Police have arrested a Texas man in connection wih the deadly hit-and-run accident that happened early Saturday morning. Todd Evan Elmore, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck on Clay Pond Road near the intersection of Arrowhead Boulevard.

Alonzo suarez, 26, of Dallas Texas was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death, accorind to Cpl. Bob Beres of the SC Highway Patrol. Troopers found the suspects vehicle about 2.5 miles from the crash site.
