Second Child Dies after DUI Accident

A 10-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother have both died after an accident on South Lake Drive. The accident happened Friday night when 37-year-old Robert Craft was driving drunk and hit the car they were in as it was turning into a private driveway. They victims and their grandparents were driving home after church when the accident happened.
A judge has denied bond for Craft, charging him with 2 counts of felony DUI involving death and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
The Lexington County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the accident.
