Police Seek Car In Hit-And-Run

   The vehicle police believe was involved in a hit-and-run late Saturday night that injured a teen in Georgetown County has been identified as either a white 2001-2007 Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus.

   The car would also be missing a right-side mirror and have damage in that area, said Cpl. Paul Brouthers of the S.C. Highway Patrol.

   The 16-year-old boy involved was walking with a group of people about 11 pm Saturday along Litchfield Rd. when he was hit by the vehicle, Brouthers said.

   He was transported to Georgetown Hospital and transferred to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston.

   His condition was not available today.

   If anyone has information about the vehicle, they are asked to contact the SCHP at 800-768-1505.
