Police Searching for Vehicle Involved in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run

Police are still searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run accident that sent one pedestrian to the hospital Saturday afternoon. The accident occured on Heyward Brockington near Porter Road in Richland County. Authorities say an unknown vehicle was traveling west when it struck a 20-year-old pedestrian walking east. The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Troopers are still determining the exact make and model of the vehicle involved in the accident.
