Police Search For Hit-And-Run Car

Police are continuing their search for the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run early Tuesday morning in North Myrtle Beach.
Corissa L. Irvin, 21, of New Hampshire died at the scene about 1:30 am. along Hwy. 17 Bypass near the Cracker Barrel, between Ocean Creek Drive and 48th Avenue South.
The vehicle in question is likely either a 1995-2005 GMC Safari van or a 1995-2005 Chevrolet Astro van, with damage to the right front side near the headlight, and possible damage to the windshield.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees a vehicle fitting this description to call area police immediately at either 280-5511 or 661-4705.
Irvin's death is the third involved in a hit-and-run on the Grand Strand in less than a month. She is believed to have been walking home from her job at Barefoot Landing.
