Pesestrian Dies After Being Struck By Car

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating an accident that happened around 1:30 am Saturday after a car struck a pedestrian. John Snuffer, 46, was walking northbound on Highway 178 near Washboard Road in Pelion when he was hit by a Chevy Envoy driven by Wayne Liva. Snuffer was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple body truama.
The accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
