Pedestrian Killed Monday in West Columbia

According to the Lexington County Coronor, 52-year-old Micheal Ray Aycock was killed after being hit while trying to cross the 700 block of Main Street. He was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on Main Street. The accident happened around 6:30 am and Aycock was transported to the hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Police officials are still investigating this fatal collision.
