Passenger Dies in Auto Accident on I-95 in Florence County

A Pennsylvania man, who was the passenger in an auto accident in Florence County this morning, has died. Troopers with the SC Highway Patrol state that the accident happened on I-95 near mile marker 150 in Florence just before 5:00 a.m. The Land Rover was traveling south, ran off the road, and overturned. The passenger, Robert Danield, who was asleep in the backseat, was killed in the accident. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the SC Highway Patrol.
