One Person Dead After Motorcycle Accident in Lexington County

A Pelion High School senior just days away from graduation was killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon. Cody M. Kyzer was riding west on Convent Church Road in Lexington around 4 p.m. when his 2007 Kawasaki went off the right side of the road. Kyzer lost control and fell from the bike. He later died at Lexington Medical Center from injuries sustained in the accident. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.

The accident was investigated by the Lexington County Coroner's office and the SC Highway Patrol.
