One Person Dead After Accident on I-20

South Carolina State Troopers say that one woman has died after a car crash on I-20 westbound in Kershaw County Friday afternoon. Dorothy Stowers, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger in a 1998 Ford SUV. Reports state that Kimberyly Stowers, 40, was driving the Ford SUV when she veered left and struck a bridge. She then overcorrected, hit the right side of the bridge, and caused the vehicle to flip.
The other passengers in the SUV were all transported to Palmetto Health Richland to be treated for injuries. Dorothy Stowers was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
