One Killed in Truck Accident Near Chapin

One man has died after a pick-up truck accident near Chapin late Monday night. The accident happened around 10:40 pm in the 1100 block of Dreher Island Road when Jerome A. Wozniak ran off the road, hit a telephone pole, a power pole, and came to a stop against a tree. The coroner says Wozniak was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol and the Lexington County Coroner's office.
