Myrtle Beach Man Sentenced in Felony DUI Case

Raul Prado Gutierrez, 28, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was sentenced to eight years in prison on charges that he struck a car and a motorcycle with two people on it while driving under the influence fall of last year.

 

Gutierrez pled guilty to two counts of felony DUI with great bodily harm. He was sentenced on Wednesday to eight years in prison. 

 

Gutierrez was driving along U.S. 17 in Surfside Beach last October when he crashed into another vehicle and then crossed into the other lane, striking a motorcycle with two people on it. His blood alcohol content at the time of the accident was just under 0.25 percent.
