Motorcyclist Identified After Fatal Accident

A 37-year-old man has died after a motorcycle accident Thursday night on U.S. 1 in Lexington County. David O. Perry was killed around 8:40 pm in the 4400 block of Augusta Road after his 2007 Kawasaki collided with a 2007 Chevy SUV. The SUV was attempting to turn left when they collided. Perry was taken to the emergency room at Palmetto Health Richland where he was pronounced dead. He was wearing a helmet in the accident.

The Highway Patrol states that an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
