Motorcyclist Dies After Accident on Highway 288 in Northern Greenville

A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on S.C. Highway 288 in Greenville county, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.  The wreck happened shortly after 2p.m. on Friday, March 11.  

According to State Troopers, Jose Dominguez-Cortina, 33, was driving a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle west on S.C. 288 when he collided with a 2001 Toyota Camry.  The Camry was pulling out of a private driveway onto S.C. 288 when the accident occured.  The Camry's driver, Christopher Turnbull, 27, was injured in the accident and was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital.  

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
