Motorcyclist and 2 Horses Killed in Deadly Accident

One person and 2 horses are dead after a motorcycle accident late Monday night on I-26 in Columbia. According to authorities, the motorcycle was going east on I-26 near mile marker 109 in Lexington County when it struck a trailer being pulled by an SUV that was also traveling east. The collision caused both the motorcycle and the trailer to catch fire.

The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene of the accident. Troopers also say that the two horses in the trailer also died in the accident. The driver of the SUV was unharmed. Police are still investigating this accident.
